First ODI between India Women and England Women at Hove - India Women won by 7 wicket with 34 balls remaining

Smriti Mandhana, Yastik Bhatia and skipper Harmanpreet Kaur with their brilliant batting paved the first colourful victory against England Women by 7 wicket with 34 balls remaining. The 3 match series started at the County Ground, Hove , Engalnd on 18 September 2022, has now India Women leading the series 1-0 with one match victory.

Among the vistors Smriti Mandhana topped the run scoreboard with 91 runs from 99 balls and Yastika Bhatia with a half century (50) harmenpreet Kaur with 74 runs and notout. The fisrt batters, England women created a 227/7 in 50 overs against a Indian Women. Jhulan Goswami, who is playing her final ODI of her career gave her best game with 20 runs in 10 overs which consisted of 40 dot balls. Indian bowlers Meghna Singh contributed 1/42 in 8 overs , the two spinners Deepti Sharma gave 2/33 in 10 overs and Rajeshwari Gayakwad gave 1/40 in 10 overs and Sneh Rana contribution was 1/45 in 6 overs and Pooja Vastrakar's was 0/20 in 2 overs for the score board of Engalnd to be 227 .

On the other hand, the Engalnd Women team's Dani Wyatt contributed 43 off 50 balls, Alice Davidson-Richards contributed 50 not out off 61 balls and Sophie Ecclestone's had 31 for England scoreboard movement .
