The visitors , Australian Cricket team has arrived at Mohali for the first T20I match against Indian Cricket team. The first match between  IND and AUS T20I series is  on September 20 (Tuesday) at IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali. Both the Indian and Australian cricket team will play three T20I games during this Australia Tour of India 2022 series. 

The Indian team is led by Rohit Sharma and the Australia is led by Aaron Finch in IND vs. AUS T20I series. Rohit Sharma-led India is currently placed  at rank 1(first)  of the ICC Men’s T20I rankings while Aaron Finch-led Australian  team is placed  at rank 6 (sixth) of the ICC Men’s T20I rankings

Most interesting fact is, both the team are starting a new series after a huge victory in the previous bilateral T20I series they played  played . India's last  bilateral series was  against West Indies in July-August 2022. In the five-match series, India won by 4-1.Australia's  last  T20I series  was against Sri Lanka in July 2022. In the three-match series, the Aussies won  the series by 2-1.
