Saudi Arabia to host the AFC tounament in 2027

Held once in 4 years, The AFC Asian Cup (Asian Football Confedertion Asian Cup) is a football tournament for senior men's national teams in Asia. It decides the continental champion of Asia and is the second oldest continental football championship, after Copa América. The team that wins the tournament becomes the champion of Asia.
Eventhough Australia is another continent, it joined Asian Federation in 2007 and hosted the finals in 2015 and became the champion in the same year

Currently, there are five awards given after the tournament, which include:

• Most Valuable Player for the best player
• Top Goalscorer for the highest goal scorer
• Best Goalkeeper for the most outstanding goalkeeper
• Team of the Tournament for the best combined team of players at the tournament
• Fair Play Award for the team with the best record of fair play.

Saudi Arabia as a host for 2027 tournament

The decision was taken during the 33rd Congress of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) that took place on February 1 in Manama, the capital of Bahrain.India and Saudi Arabia where the only 2 nations who bidded .But India's withdrwal in December 2022, made Saudi Arabia the sole bidder at the Congress in Manama

Qatar to host 2023 AFC Asian cup tournament

The coming tournament of AFC Asian cup is scheduled from June 26 to July 16 , 2023 at Qatar.
